All emergency work is subject to the following terms:
The call-out fee is payable regardless of the outcome of the emergency work undertaken.
Once we are in transit to your location, the full call-out fee is due.
Cancellations before transit will incur a £25 cancellation charge.
Calls made between 11 PM and 7 AM for advice will be subject to a £25 advice fee, which is payable even if you later choose not to proceed with the call-out.
Calls made between 7 AM and 11 PM are free for discussing emergencies.
During night hours (11 PM – 7 AM), our primary obligation is to make the situation safe and limit damage. This may involve turning off the water supply, but we will work at your property for up to one hour if a repair or temporary solution is feasible.
It is assumed that reasonable access to the internal mains water shut-off valve or external valve is available.
If both are inaccessible or their locations are unknown, and the water cannot be turned off as a result, the call-out fee and time spent remain payable.
If you are unaware of the main shut-off valve’s location, you agree to search for it while we are in transit to avoid unnecessary delays upon arrival.
If the main electrical supplier's fuse has blown, the electrical supplier may need to replace it.
It is assumed that there is reasonable access to both your electrical distribution board (fuse box) and the main supplier's fuse.
We must be able to work safely at your property.
If an emergency makes access hazardous (e.g., fire), we may not be able to enter, but the call-out fee remains payable.
In case of a gas leak, you should contact the emergency gas services immediately, as this is a free service.
They will attend to make the situation safe and typically advise you to: Turn off the gas supply at the meterOpen all windows for ventilationAvoid operating electrical circuits
